Daniel Marcus is a Colorado based artist interested in the cycle of the Hero’s Journey and being able to recontextualize mythology by the study of the hero myth narrative that is closely observed with common patterns and plots in a hero’s journey. He has recently been the sound technician and participated in set design for the modern dance company Between the Bones.
Daniel is expected to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in sculpture and a complementary in printmaking from Metropolitan State University of Denver in the Fall of 2018. His work has been shown at the Jefferson County Art Fair held at the Arvada Center in 2013 and most recently at the exhibit Presence/Absence held at Lakewood Cultural Center and juried by Deborah Jang and Mark Friday in January 2017.
